On the Agenda for tonight's (Monday, December 18, 7 P.M. at town hall) Selectmens' meeting.

"Woods Hole Group: Beach Management Plan"
Should be televised LIVE on MCTV Streaming channel:

Why do so many officials FEAR and kowtow to the Marshfield Airport gang?

What is the source of their power? Does it involve some kind of unseemly enterprise? A government entity?

I found it.
Key in beaches in search.
It's already interesting and have yet to cover 2 pages of it. Not to say I started from beginning.
It looks like it is a pro-business proposal that you the resident tax payer will be subsidizing. You have to love the special interest business groups. See how our town leadership votes.

The Coastal Advisory Commission was appointed by the bos way back in 2015. They have met pretty regularly on a monthly basis since that time. Their agenda and minutes are available on the town's website. It was established to "advise the Town on sea level rise adaptation strategies that include protection, accommodation or retreat so as to enable sustainable living in our community".
I'm not quite sure how, when, or where it morphed into the beach management plan document that WHG has now presented.
