The Rams began the season with a hard fought 13-0 victory. With a very warm September day, the Rams were able to show how deep the talent goes. The Rams were able to go 3+ deep at most skill positions, which helped to keep the players rested.

Next week brings Falmouth to Marshfield on Friday night.

Another shutout thrown by the Marshfield defense 27-0 over Falmouth. Again, Marshfield was able to go three deep at all skill positions and two deep on the line. Great game.....

Maybe the Rams will start to get some respect. None of the papers were picking them as a top team in pre-season. 2 shutouts in a row is impressive.

I don't understand why they have not received the respect.... from the local papers.
I think they have provened themselves over and over again through the years !!
What more do they want ??????

We need to stop the late hits. We hurt ourselves a few penalties.

Glad to see the boys on the field!

Yes we shut them out, but we need to play cleaner. Way to many silly penalties.

This could be the trap week if the boys are not on point. An 0-3 Whitman-Hanson team could make their season all better by knocking off Marshfield. So, if you know any of the boys on the team, remind them that every week is important. Lets wish them well this upcoming Friday night in Whitman.

Wow, WATD was calling all Rams fans out to attend this weeks game at W-H. Moving the game to 4pm pretty much eliminates me and many people with day jobs. Why not move it to Sat afternoon if mosquitoes are a issue?

I first heard it would be moved to Sat at 1pm, then was told it was Fri at 4pm. I checked on the WH school site and it was listed for Friday afternoon.
I agree with you about not being able to make the game.

I have a son that will be going to MHS next year ( transfering from Sacred Heart) and would like to catch a game. I can't find a schedule of when they play. Can anyone give me info.
Thank's

I haven't been to a game yet but I hope to catch one soon. No not this week, I'll be at Fenway.
From what I've read the Rams are awesome but the big thing that worries me is that they are 1 dimensional. No passing game, all running.

Duxbury is VERY strong this year (4-0?) and they appear to have a much better balanced attack. They can hurt you with the running game AND the passing game from what I gather. If the Rams go up against a strong D that can stuff the run (I know, easier said than done) then they could be stopped cold. I hope they try to work on the passing game because I want them to beat Duxbury more than any other team.

I'm pretty sure D-Y is also 4-0 so the last 2 games could be the best challenge.

Another win tonight against Quincy 24-6. Once again, not the cleanest or best game played, but still good enough for a W.

Next week brings Plymouth South and Home Coming. The team will need to step up their game and let the ref's leave their yellow hankies in their pockets..........

Did they complete any passes or is it 10 yards and a cloud of dust like the old Ohio State? Thanks for the updates. GO RAMS

Damn, Duxbury shut out Rockland and also are 6-0. What a turkey day we have coming up. The thing that scares me a little is that Duxbury has patriot like balance on offense, they can beat you throwing the ball and/or running it. Should be a legendary game.

Fox 25 was at the school earlier this week and will be at the school all day Friday. They will be there before school for the whole Homecoming thing. They are broadcasting from the football game. It is their Game of the Week.

13-7 win over Plymouth South. PS took just three plays to score their TD. The Rams tough D then took over and keep PS off the board. The O was not great, but got the job done over all.

Next week is in Quincy on Sat against NQ.

My son played at Scituate High this week and I must say Marshfield High needs Field Turf. That stuff is great. Maybe then we can get rid of the crown in the middle of our field...

It is great! I brought my son there to check it out last year. We had a catch for about 15 minutes, as we were leaving he turned to me and said, Dad, can I have my birthday party here????"

I hoped that D1 MYF would play there if we were scheduled to play Scituate. We played Scituate, but it was a home game...oh, well. We got a win anyway, but Field Turf would be nice.

I could only stay for the 1st half of the Rams game (as usual) and it looked like they had their hands full. D looked good, after the TD, but the O was struggling. Glad to hear they pulled out a win!!

I was worried. Plymouth drove so easily on thier first possesion but then the D tightened and the offense did enough to win. JGB- unless you had an umbrella you were lucky you left before the second half...and lucky me forgot to bring an umbrella...
