Well the Bruins picked up Jagr for nothing, if he turns out to help the team this could be a huge steal.

Kaspars Daugavins will participate in pregame warmups tonight against his former team. Daugavins will not play.
Daugavins was claimed on waivers from Ottawa last Wednesday. Daugavins could make his Bruins debut on Thursday against New Jersey. The left wing will wear No. 16.

Daugavins has one goal and two assists in 19 games. Daugavins scored his only goal of the season against the Bruins.

I know he only cost a 7th round pick, but Wade Redden sucks.

The Bruins have traded 2008 second-round pick Max Sauve to Chicago for forward Rob Flick.

Flick was selected by Chicago in the fourth round of the 2010 draft. The 22-year-old has three goals and two assists in 51 games for Rockford, Chicago’s AHL affiliate. Flick has 97 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 208-pound Flick will be a size upgrade over the perpetually injured Sauve.

Sauve scored 10 goals and 13 assists for Providence this season. Sauve is a fast and skilled wing, but has never been able to stay healthy.

Tyler Seguin will center Brad Marchand and Jaromir Jagr tonight against New Jersey. Seguin played center for his entire career before entering the NHL.
Seguin subs in for Patrice Bergeron, who is out indefinitely because of a concussion suffered on Tuesday against Ottawa.

Important game tonight with the divers.Should be a good one!

The Bruins rank fourth in the Eastern Conference standings behind Pittsburgh, Montreal and Washington with 52 points, but trail the Canadiens (53 points) by one in the Northeast Division.

A win in Montreal could help the Bruins leapfrog ahead of not only the Canadiens but also the Capitals (38 points) for second place in the Eastern Conference standings.

As much as i want to see them beat the canadians, at this point i like playoff match up better if they finish 4th. I would rather play the leafs in the first round then the newly minted rangers

Game 3 is tonight, it will be interesting to see which Bruins team shows up.

For those of you who haven't been watching the Montreal/Ottawa series has turned into one of the violent and nasty series in some time. Ottawa ran out of defenceman last night as both teams had so many people ejected from the game.

At 13:06 of overtime, David Krejci slipped an off-wing shot past James Reimer to give the Bruins a 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs in Game 4. The Bruins lead the series, 3-1. It was Krejci’s third goal of the night.

Not a bad idea, but we are already going on vacation in June. I did talk with her about it and she has agreed to celebrate the anniversary on another night.

Game 2 at 3pm!!!

Veterans Dennis Seidenberg, Andrew Ference and Wade Redden injured, the Bruins used first-round draft pick Dougie Hamilton along with Krug and Mart Bartkowski on defense. They did a great job filling in.
Redden I think is a "game time" decision for today.

You better pray it's not over in 4!

Pitt's has an offense that produces 4.3 goals per game, converts 28.3 percent of the time on the power play (13 man-advantage goals in 11 playoff games is just silly), and thrives when shorthanded at 89.7 percent on the penalty kill.

And was pushed around by the Islanders who are vastly inferior to the Bruins.

The Penguins had to score 3 goals in the last 7 minutes on March 12th to beat the Bruins, up until the collapse the Bruins were in control of that game.

As for the March 17th game, the Bruins out played them in just about every aspect, with the exception of scoring. A 2-1 win is not very convincing when you do it by hanging on.

Pittsburgh did out play the Bruins in the April 20th game,

By the way, the Rangers had beaten the Bruins each time this year as well. The Penguins are extremely good offensively, adequate on Defense and barely good in the net.
