This is going to be a good test for the Bruins. The Red Wings style of play that just gives the Bruins a rough time. They aren't any pushovers either.

Just as I predicted. This Detroit group of young speedsters are much faster.Playing with a lot of heart.
Puck mismanagement, sloppy play, and very rarely any long offensive zone time. Tough to watch.
That Datsyuk,so ugly good!

Excellent game tonight, Bruins played very much like they did in the cup finals in 2011. Playing very physical and taking Detroit out of it's game. Off to Detroit for Tuesday night.

Well, you gotta prepare for all the nonsense of a Boston-Montreal playoff series.

This will be No. 35, the most times in modern professional sports history that two teams have met in the postseason. It’s probably going to go seven.Don't worry it will be intense! 8)

Well they better find a way to put the puck past Price. They looked like they couldn't hit the side of a barn!!Terrible!!!
Next they better find a way to stop Subban or they are going to be down 2 games real fast!

Seems they found the ability to score. If they stopped taking stupid penalties they would be better able to neutralize Subban as well.

Let's face it they were on their way to losing game two. They were ten minutes away from going to Montreal down two!To many missed opportunities!

You got a hot goalie with Price. You know that the Bruins luck will run out playing from behind in Montreal given the officiating!!!You know they are going to get all the calls in their building. You'll see the national dive team in full force.

They are going to have to give it 60 minutes of effort and they haven't done that so far. They players have said that themselves.

I havent said they don't need to give a 60 minute effort. Montreal is a very good team and will certainly require a 60 minute effort. That being said they have dominated 5 on 5 play, and 3 of the 4 power play goals montreal has scored were directly off of terrible penalties the Bruins took. None of them was because the refs or the Canadians dove.

Now I know they will be diving all over the place tomorrow night and the players have to understand that they can't be drawn into anything in the first period.

Price can be beat, he has had problems all season when teams are able to crowd the crease. He has a tendency to get low to the high ice to look around the traffic and the Bruins need to shoot high every chance they can.

Just testing the dirty word filter after the 3rd goal. I figured it was better than screaming it out the window.

Well if Price can be beat, then they better start showing it!I don't think you would find one person who would say he isn't doing a dam good job for them! They also better find a way to stop Subban because he's killing them! And if they don't come out with better starts, their cooked.

The officiating has been horrible with Montreal getting away with no interference calls at all. They've been getting away with that since game one when the league has actually been trying to enforce that more.Plays like Caron, in game two just laying a stick on a players body and him going down like someone shot him with a cannon! That's just one example.Even Claude called it "crap!"

How lucky is Matt Fraser? To get called up,then score the winning OT goal to tie up the series! We really needed that! But, again we had our chances but hit the post. They have to do better on the power play! They’re 0-for-8 on the power play in this series. Not good.

Well that game absolutely sucked!Terrible mistakes! The top line did nothing again!Guess they want to leave it up to chance for a game 7!Anything can happen!Maybe they want to start their summer vacation now?

Good article in today's Globe pretty much sums it up:

"Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller’s atrocious decision-making from behind the net gave Lars Eller and the Canadiens a first-period, 1-0 lead that they never looked back from. Mian Lucic still can’t hit an open net. Tuukka Rask looked like Han Solo, frozen in carbonite, as Max Pacioretty used a Bruins blunder to his team’s advantage while Zdeno Chara was nice enough to escort his old pal straight to the net. David Krejci - zero goals this entire postseason."

Pathetic!!

Lets hope we are not trading for a guy who will be 35 when the season starts, and is scheduled to make 6.6 mil per year (you can not restructure contracts in the NHL) for the next 3 years. That would be 2 mil per year more then what they are paying Marchand, thus lowering their available cap space to 7 million.
