Looking like Sunday's game against the Heat is going to make the difference between the 2 and 3 seed.

OMG,I'm sick over it!Never seen a team go so down hill at the end of a season.I can't see how they can just flick a switch and turn it on for the playoffs! They can't count on Shaq for many minutes if at all!!!
I think they're done!!Sad to say after watching them all season!

They won!
Didn't look good at all the whole game.J.O. played a great game!He was the difference blocking shots and scoring when they needed it the most! Then Ray with the 3 to seal the deal in the last seconds of the game!!Let's hope they turned the switch on unlike the Bruins!

Game 2 at the Gahden!!!

Another win last night. It didn't look good again but we'll take the win!
Rondo played a great game. They just couldn't stop him.The bench needs to step up their game. They gave back the lead and couldn't score. Can't have that and expect to win.

Now they head to NY!!Let's go Celtics! %%-

I know they can play better. The bench needs to step up their game! But,as they say:a win is a win!I'm happy to be up 2-0 in the series. Now we got to put them away in NY!

Go Celts! %%-

Another win! We lead the series 3-0!
Paul and Ray just were on fire last night. They were putting on a clinic!Rondo also had a great game.
Looking to sweep tomorrow!I would love to see them close out this series and get rested for Miami. It would give them 6 days of rest which they could use.Maybe get the bench some practice time to try to help the team.

Let's go Celtics! %%-

Nice win by the Celts. KG looked good, Rondo's arm bending like that didn't look good...

What a win by the Celtics! One of those games where they were up,down and I was hoping they would hang on in the end to win. They ended up beating them pretty good.

That dislocation of Rondo's arm looked terrible as they showed it over and over on replay!

They thought he was done.I thought it was broken. Then couldn't believe,Doc too, that he came back out to play after having it popped back in!!Who knows how bad that will swell or be on Monday. Not much time to heal!

I thought the Celtics got screwed again on calls. You breathe on Wade and draw a foul. These ref's really want Miami to advance.I thought Wade should have been throw out for hooking Rondo when he knew the ball had gone out of bounds already. He leg whipped him to the floor.

Let's be like the 69 Celtics!Do it again!!! %%-

Nobody including Doc thought Rondo would return. The Dr popped it back in and he returned.Doc said he was shocked because he was told it was bad when he left the floor.

What pisses me off is that D Wade leg whipped him and hooked his arm around Rondo taking him to the floor. That should have been enough to throw him out!Look at how little Paul did to get thrown out!!!No remorse by Wade even after the game.KG was furious they claimed and Doc had to tell the team no retaliation!I would have loved to see Shaq lay Wade out!

Celtics lost tonight.Guess leg whipping your starting point guard pays off.Things don't look good. That Wade gets all the calls and it will only be worse in Miami.

Bad news; the strike is over and the NBA will be back at Christmas.

I'd watch a game if nothing else is on tv, but I'd prefer they stay on strike. It's had a positive effect on the Bruins, as they don't have to keep building a floor over the ice so they ice conditions have been the best ever.

I guess most agree with me, the boston.com poll has 78% saying they couldn't care less vs. being happy the strike is over.

Sorry but I miss the Celtics!I can't wait for them to start up again.Plus this group of KG,Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are not getting any younger. There is a small window of opportunity to get back to the playoffs with the Big Three.Plus,it gives me a home town team to watch in between the Bruins games.

I think both sports have their own set of core fans.I don't know if many cross over.I know this has always been a hockey town until the Pats started to do well. Then it changed.

Nice to see Pierce playing better and the offense start to get on a roll. They have 4 wins in a row. Couldn't believe they erased a 27 point deficit to win against Orlando! Then beat the Pacers last night.I hope this continues.

Blew a big lead but hung on to win the game!

Rajon Rondo had his second triple-double in three games, finishing with 18 points, 20 assists and a career-high 17 rebounds, the Celtics ruined Harvard grad Jeremy Lin's return to Boston with a 115-111 victory over the New York Knicks!

Ok,Rondo got tossed for tonight's game.Looks like Doc is going to have to scramble with the line up as Ray's ankle is still not good.He needs surgery so it's not responding.Doesn't bode well for the series!!

It sucks that didn't happen!I have been watching them all season. They were right there with them with 8min left in the game from going to the finals. They lost to many players to injury early on,namely Bradley who could have helped get them to the finals. The NBA refs have to be the worst in any sport, hands down.Few calls this way or that can change the whole game!

Go OKC!!

Boston Celtics fall to Philadelphia 76ers, 106-100.

They got to start improving on the defensive end.Still early but this kind of play can't continue.

Spurs-Celtics Preview- 7:30pm game tonight
The San Antonio Spurs are looking very thin on their front line after another key injury.

They'll begin a six-game road trip Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics, who should be in considerably better shape after finishing a grueling stretch of schedule.
