Re: CHRISTMAS BREAK PROTESTER INTERVIEW

Post by JIMD » Jan Thu 08, 2015 8:31 am

I saw the coolest thing, a Marshfield Town school bus had Merry Christmas written on the window on the back of the bus.
The bus was dirty and the Merry Christmas was clear.

When bridges sees this or some other wanker sees it and complains the buses will need to be inspected prior to departure and after each stop.

I think next season we'll see a huge increase in the Merry Christmas wishes on the back of school buses.

That would be cool

You STILL don't get the overriding concept, do you?

Are you really that slow? (yeah...YOU are  )

Despite my explaining it repeatedly...despite flightlessbird also explaining it, you STILL don't get it!

WE DON'T CARE ABOUT INDIVIDUAL EXPRESSIONS OF CHRISTMAS. OR ANY OTHER HOLIDAY!

In fact, I staunchly defend anyone's right to celebrate any holiday.

It is GOVERNMENT SPONSORED celebrations that promote one religion over another...THAT is what we have a problem with.

So, JIMD...do you have information that would lead you to be believe that some dept of the town of Marshfield is going around writing "Merry Christmas" on the back of buses?

I have no issue with gay priests. Being gay does not hurt anyone.

I have an issue with PEDOPHILE priests. And quite a number of them were molesting girls. The problem was NOT just boys, so it was clearly not just homosexual priests!

Furthermore, I have no intention of hammering way against Islam, as mainstream Islam is not the problem. Jihadists / extremists are the problem, and mainstream Islam condemns them, just as I do.
Here is a softball for you showing that religion has no correlation with morality. Let's see if you have the grapes to take a stand against someone who might hit you back unlike the Catholics who will just pray for you.

Any comments on the following?

12 KILLED AT PARIS MAGAZINE THAT RAN MUHAMMED CARTOONS
TWEETED ISIS JOKE HOUR BEFORE ATTACK
VIDEO: 'ALLAHU AKBAR!'
'WE HAVE AVENGED THE PROPHET!'
Yeah - those were NOT mainstream Muslims.

There have been atrocities committed by religious EXTREMISTS, in damn near any religion (including Christianity).

You just can't seem to grasp the concept that an EXTREMIST is an OUTLIER. They are not MAINSTREAM!

Being gay does not hurt anyone.

Have you ever heard of HIV? It's killed many gays in America, all the way back to 1980. Being gay got you killed. And being gay you killed someone. The Bath houses, the coke, casual sex.

I'd ask the same thing about all of your points about supposed morality being lost by taking away a word. Morality has nothing to do with any of this. Religion has nothing to do with any of this! But you all still keep insisting that they do. I don't get it??? It makes people feel included because Holiday Break is encompassing people who don't celebrate Christmas! Isn't it a bit strange for somebody who doesn't celebrate Christmas to be on Christmas break??? Christmas has nothing to do with their break, so why should they call it that? Holiday encompasses every holiday during that time period! Wow! Inclusion! What an apparently difficult to understand concept!

Specialties, you're a terrifying person. You keep rambling on and on about things that don't make sense, things that don't matter, things that aren't true, and you keep coming up with false conclusions. You also didn't answer my question about how if killing wasn't punishable by God, would you kill somebody? But I think I know the answer because apparently religion is the only thing stopping you from doing anything amoral.

bridgeball,

Your elpresidente attitude is a matter of record and since you are now stuck in your small 3D world I doubt that you know just how much your breath really stinks... It has been a pleasure using your saul's rules of radicals back on you....
Try that whizzing on isisis sometime...
Within the last three messages you have ragged on the Catholic Church but you NEVER have concern over isisis and other forces of evil who are out for your head... You probably thought that they were part of your pogrom on the USA but jinx on you, corkscrew... You're busted..,.
Go away from me, please...

flightless,

Your lack of understanding is of no longer a concern for me... I gave you some straight up and you are still stuck in the mud...

both,

There are not enough shrinks to fix what now is broken... Get rid of all the 'suggestions' and then try to hire enough police...
Hint: Charlton Heston starred in the movie 'The Ten Commandments'
bridge ball plays the late Edward G. Robinson and flightless is his harpie...

Where is your argument here? Just railing away emotionally is what Dribbles does rather than remaining silent or admitting he was wrong. You have no way of knowing it but I did go through Massachusetts indoctrination and was "brainwashed "for a period of time. When I finally did emerge from that cocoon things were better - clearer - made more sense. I finally knew where I stood. The first step is acknowledging that another perspective could possibly exist.

No it's not.

Voters elected officials to do what is right, NOT what is politically expedient.

If they don't like an officials voting record, they can vote out said elected official.

That is the way democracy has ALWAYS worked in this country.
Also there are no truly democratic elections in a one party state.
Of course there are.

First of all, it is not a "one party state", as we have had number of Republican governors. More than Dems in recent history...including our CURRENT governor, Charlie Baker.

Furthermore, every elected official, even the Dems, WAS ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE.

You may not like the way democracy rolls here, BUT IT IS DEMOCRACY.

A solid majority prefer Dems.

No - not in Marshfield...but in the state as a whole.

If you don't like that, I am sure Montana or Wyoming would be happy to have you...or maybe not.

You'd best be advised to turn to the Saints for forgiveness than spread your gospel of hate and discontent around here...

Forum riot? =))

I could care less what this Forum thinks.

There were a number of folks on here who agreed with the School Committee decision...as did I.

As for the DPW.

1) They broke town signage regs. 'Nuf said.

2) On shaky legal ground, if they use town owned property / town owned land, and ONLY say merry Christmas. So easy to avoid too...just include Hanukkah and Kwanzaa on the sign, or stick with "Season's Greetings".

I expect it will be a free-for-all next year, and only likely to get uglier. Won't be me who complains to the town...but I bet someone will.

According to your book of saul, you are needlessly hanging on to this thread, and you know the rules...

The central committee is also tired of you.... Walk East on Beacon, you'll get there...

Another spoiled rich kid with white guilt bytes the dust... No mezuza, yet!!

Could the two of you answer a question for me? In looking at the number of posts from both of you and the time of day that you both post comments, do either one of you have a job or any kind of life outside of the Marshfield Forum? I don't know about anyone else, but both of you are becoming rather boring and acting like two kids who insist on getting in the last dig or insult on every topic.
Maybe it's time you both took a break and gave the rest of us a break.
Thank you.

I seldom post during the day, during the week, as I have a fulltime professional job (SW engineer) for a very large company.

And I have on occasion gone weeks...even months...between posts.

So yeah, I have PLENTY of life outside the forum.

Hey - if you don't like our posts, why are you reading them? Nothing different now, than has been going on since...well...2006 for me...and a lot longer for him.

Thank you, niles... There are millions of other threads that may draw on your intelligence...

wedge, just heard 'quote' from isisisis that they want to target 'non believers' in USA...
Will you be hiding inside of your wife's church next?? Looks bad for atheists now thanks to you...

How do you like the new target on your back???

That would translate to "Non-Muslims", I would highly suspect. That means you too.
