Where to donate washer and dryer?

Post by TC930 » Oct Sat 01, 2011 2:32 pm

We have a washer and dryer that we no longer need ... the washer is about 4 years old but lightly used and working fine. Dryer is considerably older, but an expensive front-loader. Drying well, might need a little maintenance at some point, it makes a whining noise sometimes when it's first started up but quiets back down, probably a bearing on the drum.

Anyway, are there local organizations that might be able to make use of them? Not looking to sell, just have someone take 'em away and do some good with them.
