Re: Molly Movie Mania

I would personally like to thank Jim Fitzgerald and his family for the wonderful "Molly Park". Every time I drive by that park, I think about your daughter (Molly) and how special she was to inspire her parents to build, maintain such a special place that brings joy to all Marshfield residents. Than...

Resident Placard - Brant Rock

Last week, I noticed signs at BR center stating "Resident placards or 2 hour parking only". I support this action as it stops non-residents from parking and going to the beach for free. However, where can I get a "resident placard" or will a beach sticker suffise? Went to Marshfield website and did ...

Re: Expensive Park - just Crazy

I have to admit that this new park looks beautiful! Along with the Molly Park, it does make the center of town look much more inviting. At the end of the day and the Riverwalk is completed, I could be the first person to say that it was worth the expenditure.

Hubby and I frequent lots of restaurants outside of Marshfield. However, if a local place serves good food or a local business meets my needs then I really want to keep local businesses afloat. All good questions that I honestly have not given a lot of thought. First, I want to see businesses survive in town for the following reasons: 1. It is not a good thing to see a lot of empty restaurants/buildings around town. An active business community sends the message that the town is thriving. ...

The tickets are actually pretty pricey. A few years ago, I actually got a ticket at Green Harbor before Memorial day. I had neglected to buy my beach sticker yet and had to pay the price for my negligence. I recall it was expensive. I think the 2 hour limit works. If non-residents are there to shop ...

Are there signs that designate BR as a 2 hr limit and that tickets will be issued? In previous years, I have seen officers chalk mark cars along BR and then ticket them 2 hrs later. Hope they do that in the center as well. However, there should be clearly marked warning signs that discourage non-res...

Beach Parking at Brant Rock Center

Just happened to notice a lot of people parking at BR center and crossing over to beach. I thought there used to be signs stating that was illegal. There are plenty of non-resident parking in this town but no one will pay when they can park free. I hope the police crack down because we could barely ...

No matter what the guidelines for CPA funds: this park was sold as a much cheaper project than it turned out to be. Also, the DPW will be responsible for the upkeep and that comes out of the general fund. Perhaps I am wrong but it appears to me that everything proposed over the last few years is app...
