So - after the nationwide search and the "interview process" and, the "deliberation and possible vote" what do you think will happen? See the selectmens' Agenda for Monday, Sept. 25: "NAME OF PUBLIC BODY: Board of Selectmen DATE OF MEETING: Monday, September 25, 2017 TIME: 7:00 PM PLACE: Furnace Br...

This should probably be a new topic, but just looked online at the Town's website for Job Opportunites and see that Building Commissioner and Facilities Manager posted yesterday, 9/19 and Town Accountant on 9/11. Are you kidding me??? What is going on here. Isn't Barbara Costa the Town Accountant a...

Outsourcing was never going to happen.Having THEIR hand picked people on the board making the decision is what they wanted. It was already decided who was going to get the job before the whole dog and pony show started.Who are they kidding?

The residents need to know what happened. Did the building commissioner break any rules or laws? Did he refuse to carry out the agenda? Yes,the residents should know but seems like we are always the last ones to know!!Unless it makes it to the papers which is only because it involves a criminal iss...

If a student is that stressed they should be seeking professional mental health counseling! It makes you wonder what this generation is going to turn into as adults.Past generations had the real worry of being drafted right into a war right out of high school.Imagine if you gave them a draft number?...

Right, the subject is not about bail.I had only mentioned I thought the bail of $500,was very low for the violent assault and the class of drugs they were carrying as you had said.

Re: Humarock beach Closed to July 3-4 celebration?

Good point from the article: "It's the people who have changed, as well as the demographics and the style of governing. Many of the cottages we remember from 1950-1990 are now 3 story beach mansions that only a wealthy person could afford. The elite, even in a town like Duxbury where the ceiling is ...

In the report," they were drinking and enjoying fourth of July celebrations" in that area which they all live. They had no intentions of leaving the area. As the article said,if it were public safety as the excuse then did they close the bars at 4pm or liquor stores???No!
