Re: Tax Takings

Dear Joseph
I'm done with responding to any more of your posts. I asked a simple question about helping others and again you decided to attack the questioner. Enjoy your fame as a town critic and may you continue to be happy attacking others. Have a nice day.

Re: Tax Takings

I understand that political debate can get heated and emotional. That's what makes democracy so great in that heated debate can take place over issues that people really care about. My point is that heated and emotional debate can take place without name calling or gutter talk. Think President Reaga...

In fact, many times I agree with Joe and others on this forum on certain issues such as the airport expansion or Maresco's appointment. However, I do take issue with the way Joe attacks anyone and everyone who disagrees ...

Try South Shore Medical Center in Norwell. There are doctors there who are accepting new patients and the facility is terrific. All services are on site form labs to X-rays.

Re: When will Marshfield have full-day Kindergarten?

Eric, do you really believe that 100 kindergarten students are going to move to Modera because we have free kindergarten? That's a real stretch. Consider the apartment complex called The Villages/ Fox Run. This is a much larger complex than Modera would be and because most of the students living the...

Re: When will Marshfield have full-day Kindergarten?

Eric I have a couple of questions for you. First of all, what towns around Marshfield are not offering full day kindergarten? Secondly, why would Modera make a huge difference in staffing? Even if Modera produced an additional 100 students, spread over 13 grade levels from K-12, that would mean an a...

Re: When will Marshfield have full-day Kindergarten?

Clover, Half day kindergarten was fine 20-30 years ago when kindergarteners came to school with very few academic skills. Years ago, kindergarteners were taught shapes, colors and how to count. Re: When will Marshfield have full-day Kindergarten?

Eric, This is not something new. People in town have been pushing for this for almost five years. The tuition for full day is currently $3000 per child. Many towns cost a lot more. This has nothing to do with some hidden agenda or the Modera project or trying to lure people into our town because we ...

If I am understanding the collection procedure correctly, four letters were sent to those who were more than 180 days in arrears. Some towns do have their own pre-schools within the public schools. However, space is a major issue in most towns.
