Re: President Trump

Not to say you can believe any poll but Moore was up by ten points. Your right, you can never consider any candidate as a lock. He has had some controversial issues in past, but I would imagine that voters could overlook those in regards to what was stake. The most recent controversy is what the vot...

Re: President Trump

You could say Bannon lost this one, but I would say he only lost as the candidate he backed had some serious allegations against him come out a month before election. If that were not the case ( allegations ) then I would say Moore would have easily won. See what happens in future with other Bannon ...

You think Secretary of State H.R.C. deal with Russians in the sale of uranium was for this project? How much money would she reel in if the project was to happen? No investigation yet? Just admit it. Your fingers got ahead of the mouse ( a slow one at that ) spinning the wheel in your head and you are now trying to cover over it.

Re: Zoning board approves Modera

Seahag, The project is way too big. If the area where the leaching field is suppose to be can not adequately drain the waste water from all the units that are to built then maybe it will have to be downsized. If there was a legal way to interfere with the project to be built then yes I would interfe...

Re: Zoning board approves Modera

I am hearing 90 ft. you have to dig down to hit water..
I do not know who is doing the work. Does it matter?
All I know is it was mentioned that the soil make up may not be conducive for a leaching area.
That is it.

Re: Zoning board approves Modera

Nope, I don't believe I said project could not go forward. Just said there might be an issue with leaching field.
Though, I was recently told that soil was moved around up there to make area a higher level. So, depending how deep they go for a test they may not go deep enough to the depth of concern.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Let's not forget that it's not just the 10% threshold as it's always brought up but the town can survey it's land and see if it meets 1.5 % land dedication to affordable housing. Which I brought forth to the planning board a few years ago to take up and they...

Well, I am glad to see Steve Robbins decided to share his opinion. I think it needs a response from another board member and may be someone from the D.P.W. as well at the next C.R.C. meeting.

I believe they do get paid but it's not much compared to the time they put in if you break down time vs. current compensation.

Yes, I do know that residents and business/commercial have the same tax rate in town. You hear it every year that there will be no changes to tax rates between residents and business.

Not everyone is paying into trash and not everyone is paying into sewer. So, you would have to have separate boards with restricted voting as to those living in town who are paying into those funds.
